The Washington Trail
Located throughout Washington Parish, the northeast corner of our 5-parish region. Drive through the quaint cities of Franklinton and Bogalusa, as well as the rolling countryside.
The Kentwood / St. Helena Trail
The Kentwood/St. Helena trail takes you to the edge of the state line, and runs from the beautiful hilly area of St. Helena Parish on the west and through north Tangipahoa Parish in the center.
The Hammond Trail
See majestic oak trees in the middle of Tangipahoa Parish, including those on our beautiful university's campus - Southeastern Louisiana University.
The Amite Trail
The Amite Trail runs across Tangipahoa parish, including the cities of Amite and Loranger.
The Ponchatoula Trail
Completely located in the south of Tangipahoa Parish. You'll travel through strawberry fields to the Tangipahoa line on the west, through the city of Ponchatoula and south to Manchac and the serene swamp landscape.
The St. Tammany Trail
Winding through the entire parish of St. Tammany, oak and pine trees will welcome you to the north, with cypress wetlands drawing you in on the south. You'll drive from the hills of Folsom to the lakefront cities of Covington, Mandeville, and Slidell.
The Livingston Trail
Encompassing the parish of Livingston, this trail winds you through an area which is rich in pine trees and has a heavy pine industry.
Alexandria and Breaux Bridge
Each of these great cities host a unique quilt square representing the forest, wildlife and famous Louisiana cuisine. The Cajun Connection at Breaux Bridge along with the Civilian Conservation at its Best are pictured under the Welcome Center Trails.
Welcome Center Trails
Eight blocks are located in five Louisiana welcome centers throughout Louisiana. The trail travels through Central Louisiana at Alexandria on I-49, south to Breaux Bridge's Atchafalaya Center on I-10. Winding its way eastward through Abita Springs and Slidell centers on I-10. North and South Welcome Centers on I-55 at Kentwood takes you through beautiful North Tangipahoa. Our most recent addition leads you through Pearl River at the welcome center on I-59 in St. Tammany Parish. The Breaux Bridge and Atchafalaya square images may be viewed at the end of "The Livingston Trail" page. The other images are located under their parish trails.
